Mood board Critique form feedback
During this seminar 03.02.16, I presented my research in the form of a mood board, to be able to get some immediate feedback, and compare my way of thinking with others. During the presentation I wasn't nervous about talking through midis with my partner because she showed me she was listening and giving feedback and made me feel confident to explain my ideas. I was surprised with some of the feedback as it was all good and encouraging, the part that inspired me the most, talked about new suggestions for me revolving around the word fleeting. This gave me the chance to listen to what others' interpretation is around that word, because of this I feel confident to continue on my research into things I hadn't originally thought of. I can now do a wider search and explore the meaning behind my word and the others meanings surrounding it.
Overall I was pleased with all the research given, because it has either encouraged me or inspired me to experiment and research further. I was happy with my presentation although it was short, because I explained what I had researched already and explained my makeup ideas, but hadn't done any further research. Next time, to prepare for another presentation I will make notes off all the things concerning my mood board and ideas to know exactly what I want to say. I will also research further and continue to build upon my mood-board and makeup ideas. Next time I will make face charts to further illustrate my ideas and plans, I will do this throughout my time on this project, to develop my ideas and build on my mood board, I will also improve my mood board continuously and look for new pictures that can illustrate my ideas well. I will do this weekly so that my idea process is always improving and developing.
My feedback Critique
Things to improve on my mood-board:
- photos of inspiring images, nothing too literal to the word fleeting
- add 'shine' 'a hint of something' 'shear' 'something the minimal colour' 'transparent'
- research further on Pinterest, explore ideas given in the feedback
- research the idea of looking through something transparent, example, a glass or wet plastic
- Next time for my presentation I will think about my research and make points along the way to be able to tell my ideas to my peers clearly.
