Feedback evaluation
Overall I think the feedback given about the latest project 'who do you think you are, David Bailey?' to be correct; I have mentioned in my evaluation that I struggled with the technical part of the project. I think for my next task, I need to improve upon my photoshop and indesign skills as they are lacking. I feel that during the seminars learning about photoshop, there was not enough lessons for me to fully understand how to change the exposure of an image, and as I am more inspired by the physical makeup and hair side of the project, I spent less time tweaking the images. I enjoyed styling the monochrome images, and I spent more time on this photoshoot because I wanted to find poses that were fun and suited to the model. I knew what I wanted for the colour photoshoot, therefore was able to get it one much quicker.
I was pleased with my photoshoots, both the black and white one and the colour one, as my models where fully comfortable in front of the camera and they were fully cooperative. I preferred the original colour images; before I used photoshop on them because the colours looked more natural and enhanced everything in each picture. Overall I was pleased with the outcome for my project as I expected the grade I was given. Next time, I will spend more time on perfecting the images using photoshop, this will mean having more practice with friends and lecturers to improve on my technical skills.
